We are the umbrella organization of over 40 active Germanic clubs and societies with an estimated membership of 9,600 men, woman and children.
The Chicagoland region, about 40 miles by 20 miles in size, is home to about 8 million people, 30% of which are of German descent. More than 400
businesses, dealing with Germany, large and small - industrial, commercial and service companies - are giving this region an industrious and balanced work ethnic. This is indeed a
good place to work, life and spend quality leisure time.
UGAS of Greater Chicago coordinates the events calendar of its member clubs and organizes a number of other festivities in the city.
